Leona Lewis claimed that her ‘Glassheart‘ album was delayed until March 26th 2012 because she had been inspired to new music for the project. Well, following the poor reception of the Dance-flavoured lead single, ‘Collide’, it appears that the singer is indeed venturing in a different musical direction with the aid of Tony Bennett.
Lewis performed alongside the Jazz legend, who recently scored his first #1 album on the Billboard 200 with ‘Duets II’, for a concert at the London Palladium last evening. Coincidentally, Lewis’ idol, Mariah Carey, also collaborated with Bennett earlier this year on the song ‘When Do The Bells Ring For Me’.

I just can not get into Leona vocally. The girl can sing no doubt but I just don’t feel moved by any of her music.
