New Song: Rick Ross – ‘You The Boss (Ft. Nicki Minaj)’

Rick Ross enlisted Nicki Minaj for his new single, ‘You The Boss’. The track is the official lead single from his ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ album, which is due later this year.

As usual, Ross has put forward yet another solid radio single. It’s fascinating that he has managed to remain consistently successful in the last 5 years while simply finding different ways to chant the same word on 50 occasions in the same song – “boss”. Undoubtedly, his new album will definitely perform well given the Christmas sales rush and the momentum created by his last release, ‘Teflon Don’.

   I like the song overall. It’s some good riding music that he always delivers. Also, I feel like Ester Dean could’ve did the hook instead of Nicki.

   Keri Hilson needed this hook she needs to fire her team cause she has just fallen off before her career even really took off. But it is catchy i like, even though Nicki said she was done with features i think we will be hearing a lot more from her til she releases her next album cause i think she is done with Pink Friday.
