Just days after unseating Madonna’s longstanding record for the fastest achievement of 20 top 10 singles in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 among female acts, Rihanna has now accomplished a similar astonishing feat on the Official UK Singles Chart. However, this time the Pop star has bested herself.

Rihanna has landed 6 chart-topping singles on the chart as her latest release, ‘We Found Love’, has debuted at #1. This feat has earned her title of being the only female artist to notch 6 #1 tracks during a 5 year period, toppling the record that she set earlier this year when she accumulated 5 such singles in 5 calendar years. However, Elvis Presley still has the honor of having the most #1 songs in the shortest period of time after accumulating 14 summit singles in only 7 years from 1957 to 1963.

Elsewhere, Adele’s ’21′ has maintained a spot in the top 5 of the UK Albums Chart for a 37th week. The album, which has sold almost 10.7 million copies worldwide, even managed to rebound to #2 – up 2 spots from last week.
