Did you know that Alicia Keys’ ‘As I Am’ is the top-selling R&B album of the last 5 years in the US?

Released on November 13th 2007, ‘As I Am’ has thus far sold over 3.80 million copies in the US and is currently placed as the 8th best-selling title since the end of 2006. Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift’s ‘Fearless’ is the highest ranked album with 6.39 million units sold since its debut in 2008.

   Not surprising. This is one oft top r&b albums and definitely her best to date.

   It was also the biggest selling album in the US of 2008. Sold 7 Million copies WW.

   You also have to factor in lack of promo,airplay & the music thats being played. This album is great and it did very very well. She has a huge fanbase, she’s such a great artist.
