New Song: Amy Winehouse – ‘Like Smoke (Ft. Nas)’

A previously unreleased song from the late Amy Winehouse has been issued to remind us of the extent of her talent during her prime years. ‘Like Smoke’ was recorded and produced by Salaam Remi in 2008 and it features contributions from Winehouse’s close friend Nas.

However, ‘Like Smoke’ is only of 12 formerly unheard songs that will be released on Winehouse’s upcoming ‘Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures’ album. The full LP will be available on December 5th.

It is truly sad that Winehouse was unable to overcome her personal struggles and fully embrace her music without any distraction. On the bright side, despite having such a small catalogue of material, her voice shall live on as we remember her once sweet tone on ‘Like Smoke’.
