Last week, Rihanna matched Beyonce’s 36-week total time period spent atop the Billboard Hot 100. However, the vixen’s ‘We Found Love’ has clocked a 3rd week at the chart’s peak, thus giving her the boost to surpass her predecessor on the tally.
‘We Found Love’ continued to dominate the Hot 100 this week and earned Rihanna her 37th week at the summit. The song is the lead single from her upcoming ‘Talk That Talk’ album, which hits stores on November 21st. The song release from the project, ‘You Da One’, entered the Hot 100 at #73 this week.
Other tunes that made moves on the Hot 100 this week included David Guetta’s ‘Without You (Ft. Usher)’, which advanced to #4, andMaroon 5 and Christina Aguilera’s ‘Moves Like Jagger’, which dipped to #5. Moreover, Bruno Mars’ ‘It Will Rain’ cracked the top 10 #9.
