Madonna was reportedly devastated when her incomplete new single, ‘Give Me All You Love’, surfaced ahead of schedule and was blasted by critics as well as her fans for its lackluster sound. However, that setback has not halted the Queen of Pop from forging her comeback. In fact, she has taken a very important step toward toward reclaiming her throne – she signed a contract with Interscope Records.
While details regarding the specifics of the deal remain private, it has been confirmed that Madonna has joined a new distribution arrangement with Interscope for the release of her next three albums. Yet, don’t expect her new contract to disrupt her agreement with Live Nation because her 10-year $100 million deal with the company will continue.
Madonna joined Live Nation after departing Warner Bros. in 2008, following the release of her ‘Hard Candy’ LP. Live Nation was responsible for her record-breaking ‘Sticky & Sweet Tour’, which gross over $408 million in revenue worldwide.

The fact that Madonna’s new albums will be released via the same label that houses Lady Gaga might cause rampant speculation about a conflict of interest but there is absolutely no real issue here because Interscope would only be responsible for her distribution and not her management. Indeed, Madonna’s affairs are still handled Live Nation and despite any indication that Interscope executives might show favouritism to either her or Gaga, it is important to remember that their main goal is to make money.
Besides, Gaga is still in the development stages of her next album and won’t be releasing new music for quite some time. Hence, Madonna has absolutely nothing to fear.
