Alongside fellow songwriters Harvey Mason Jr, Thomas Newman and Damon Thomas, Blige received a nomination for ‘The Living Proof’ from the critically acclaimed motion picture ‘The Help’. Other nominees in the Best Original Song category included ‘Hello Hello’ from ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’, ‘Masterpiece’ from ‘W.E.’, ’The Keeper’ from ‘Machine Gun Preacher’ and ‘Lay My Head Down’ from ‘Albert Nobbs’. The 69th annual Golden Globes ceremony will air on January 15th and it will be hosted by Ricky Gervais.
