SB.TV caught up with former ‘The X Factor (UK)’ contestant Misha B this week and gave the young performer this opportunity to display her talent in what would probably become a pair of viral videos. During her multifaceted set, Misha B delivered a thrilling freestyle as well as a rendition of ‘Silent Night’ just in time for Christmas day.
Misha B made it to the final four of ‘X Factor (UK)’ before she was eliminated by the viewers in the semifinal round of the competition. However, she was regular touted as a favourite of the judges, especially her mentor, Kelly Rowland.

Freestyle
‘Silent Night’
Misha B is quite talented but despite her versatility, she is constrained by one major problem – her accent. Throughout her freestyle, it was very difficult to understand her lyrics and the issue even persisted while she sang.
If Misha B ever expected to become a global act then she needs to learn to nullify that accent during her performances so that a wider range of listeners would be able to access her material. Indeed, Adele, Jessie J and even the new ‘The X Factor (US)’ winner, Melanie Amaro, have all effectively muted their natural twang while singing, thus allowing them to succeed on a larger scale.

I was super sad when she was voted off the XFactor. I want her to be international so maybe she does need to tone down the accent. But, she has major talent that i think can ses her far.
Misha Bs Rendition of Silent Night was brilliant and brought a tear to my eye when I thought of all those starving kids in Manchester who will be on the streets this xmas!
