Did you know that Rihanna holds the record for the most #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 without ever accomplishing a #1 album on the Billboard 200?
Rihanna has landed 11 chart-toppers on the Hot 100 yet she has yet to land an album at the summit of the Billboard 200. The only acts who came close to the Barbadian’s awkward feat were Pat Boone and Daryl Hall & John Oates. Both these acts achieved had 6 #1 singles without reaching the peak of the album tally.

she’s got plenty of time to go to get a #1 album she’s only 24 years old Mariah Carey who she’s a cheap copy cat of has 6 #1 albums and had her last one so far at age 38 plus is in second place among women only Barbara Streisand with 8 #1 albums has more granted Babs has been around 9 3/4 times as long as Rihanna and Mariah signed her first contract before Rihanna was a year old and has sold 65 million albums in the US alone

Trent you really did waste todays music minute. This is a well known fact that gets pointed out every 5 months she releases an album. YOU JUST made an intire post, with good points i might add, on the subject. THAT WAS ENOUGH.

I hope you read this Trent I don’t really do the twitter or facebook thing. I really do appreciate your music minute as someone who is near 40 I have to come to realise that many young people don’t know music history. When I was a child there was no such thing as a R&B radio station or a ROCK radio station, it was simply a radio station so I basically heard all kinds of music. Videos were fairly new on the scene so we were train to listen first and be entertained by the eyes after. Young people now listen to one type of music or one kind of artist and they seem to think that musical innovation begins and ends with that artist. It is refreshing to have someone who is trying to educate but in a way that is entertaining
i dont think she should get a #1 on 200 billboard chart. i think this is something she be known for. i like it.
