Did you know that Patti LaBelle has only achieved a single #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist?

Patti’s lone chart-topping single on the Hot 100 is ‘On My Own (with Michael McDonald)’, which climbed to #1 on the lineup in 1986. In fact, the tune is her only top 10 single in the US, not including the #1 song ‘Lady Marmalade’, which she recorded as a member of the group Labelle.

Interestingly, Patti’s only other song to enter the top 20 of the Hot 100 was ‘New Attitude’, which peaked at #17 in 1985. Watch her perform the song live below:
