Rihanna’s Painfully ‘Loud’ Jingle Bell Ball Concert

Rihanna hit the stage at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in London’s 02 Arena yesterday and it sounded as though she missed her regularly scheduled Skype vocal training session before the show. In fact, during performances of ‘S&M’, ‘We Found Love’ and ‘What’s My Name?’, the now blonde vixen simply screamed at intervals over a jarringly loud backtrack.
Rihanna first adopted her new blonde wig while filming the video for her latest single, ‘You Da One’. Ironically, the hairstyle was adopted shortly after she averred that she would not be supporting such gimmicky trends for attention.

Where exactly was the singing in this entire setlist? Rihanna only grunted, yelled at the crowd, jumped around, twirled and literally posed for the cameras. Things just keep going from bad to worse with Rihanna no matter how hard we pray for a miracle.

@Trent, you better preach! I am not a fan of Ms. Fenty but even I expected more than this! Her fans will be quick however, to point out her ill-gotten and very shady #1 singles but cannot see that she lacks musical growth and true ability! For this chick to be on her 6th CD in as many years I see no growth in her vocally or perfromance wise! SMDH

It’s clear that Rihanna is tired from being on tour non stop for so long. But they manufacture seats for those that are tired and she obviously needs one. We can laugh at her but this is something serious. it’s evident that she’s breaking down. Her performances will never get better if she has no time to work on them or even relax. The people around her don’t care about her because they’re pushing her to work when she really shouldn’t. She must not have any friends because a real friend wouldn’t let her go out on stage, knowing that she isn’t feeling it.
Why yall keep saying “oh its ok, she just tired”? This is exactly how she’s been performing for the past 5 or 6 years of her career. She will ALWAYS be a terrible performer, it’s not a matter of being tired or not

This was pure garbage. I really want to know if the UK/London even know just what real talent is becuase this was a HOT FUCKIN MESS.
Err im frm London and I kno exactly what talent is! That was quite shambolic but i really think at this stage in her career her name is bigger than her actual talent which is why she gets away with performances like that. Shes a superstar with a great look and catchy songs and to today’s generation thats all that matters. It’s a damn shame!

Granted this is the worst Ive seen her, but if you put rihanna’s name in youtube most of her performances arent the best. These performances become so anticlimactic because the girl can sing but doesnt even try. She sound like she need a nap… be glad when the tour is over so she can just do TTT promo and videos… then tour again in 2013
