Willow Smith exploded onto the music scene in 201o with her smash hit ‘Whip My Hair’ but after several delays and failed attempts to score followup success, people generally lost interest in the young star’s debut album. Yet, it seems that Smith’s team have finally gotten a grip on her project as she has pegged a concrete release date for April 2012.
Smith’s debut album will arrive on April 3rd 2012. Preceded by the most recent single, ‘Fireball (Ft. Nicki Minaj)’, the record has yet to be given a title. Meanwhile, the accompanying visual will premiere via BET’s ’106 & Park’ next week.

If Roc Nation executives intend to push Smith as the female answer to Justin Bieber then they will have to structure every aspect of her upcoming campaign without fault. Thus far, she has been unsuccessfully promoting singles and the public has been quite disinterested in her recent releases. So, Roc Nation has a major challenge to overcome regarding convincing people to buy her album or even her songs on iTunes.
“Whip my hair” is a great record (could have been grammy nominated) but if Willow plans to become a teen idol, she needs to be more opened and accessible, which she is not. Her parents are overprotecting her, rightfully so.
she better hope Rachel crow wont win xfactor cause willow cant compete
