Before Melanie Fiona released the remix of her latest single, ’4 AM’, earlier today, she was given the opportunity to honor one of her idols. The R&B singer visited Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles yesterday to perform The Jackson 5′s ‘I’ll Be There’ for the Jackson family as a special tribute to the late Michael Jackson.

Thankfully, Fiona was wise enough to sing the Jackson 5 composition of ‘I’ll Be There’ instead of Mariah Carey’s version, which most acts ignorantly cover without learning the difference. Watch Fiona’s stunning rendition of ‘I’ll Be There’ below:
