Adele Announces New Single

Adele’s ’21′ has been a monster success but she is far from finished with her chart domination. In fact, while her current single, ‘Set Fire to the Rain’, continues its residency in the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100, Adele has already prepared another release from the project.

‘Rumour Has It’ will be the 4th official single from Adele’s ’21′. The track, which has already peaked at #60 on the Hot 100, will be issued to Pop, Adult Pop and Adult Contemporary radio stations in March.

Thus far, all of the singles from ’21′ – ‘Rolling in the Deep’, ‘Someone like You’ and ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ – have peaked at #1 on the Hot 100. ‘Rolling’ won the Record of the Year and Song of the Year titles at the 2012 Grammy Awards where Adele also sang the tune live.

’21′ has sold over 6.39 million copies in the US since being released in February 2011. The record also earned the Album of the Year title at this year’s Grammy ceremony.

   I remember this song from a Grey’s episode last season. I always thought that it had already been released.

   This is the song that I like the least from the album, but I’m not surprised she’s releasing it as a single.

   Hopefully she regroups and releases the single properly, by that i mean actually making a video for it in time for the release. It’s great that “21″ is slaying everyone but as a fan i still appreciate a video to go with the song.
