Hot Pics: Mariah Carey Visits Vocal Specialist In NYC

While other artists were busy partying and enjoying the festivities of the 2012 Grammy Awards, a certain diva was focusing on her craft. Mariah Carey visited a voice and ear specialist in New York City last evening for a routine checkup.

Struggling to avoid the photographers, Carey was “heartbroken” by the recent passing of her friend and onetime collaborator Whitney Houston. The two singers were regularly compared to each other because of their massive vocal ranges and incredible control but maintained a private friendship away from the media spotlight.

Carey has been busy recording her new studio album with the help of Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat, Big Jim Wright, Randy Jackson and several others. Yet, many wonder if she still has the vocal chops to dominate the music scene in the manner that she did during her early career.

   dumb asses she goes to that throat specialist 2 times a year to check the beigine pollips on her vocal chords as she’s scared to get them removed after seeing what happned to Julie Andrews 14 years ago. of course she’s gonna come back reinvigorated she’s already said many times that her journey to motherhood and actually being a mom has given her new inspiration as becoming a parent often does look no further than Stevie Wonders Song In The Key Of Life for proof of that songs like I Wish and Isn’t She Lovely were inspiried by his young children and I Wish won a Grammy for best Male R&B performance in 1978
