Less than hour ago, a snippet of Lil Kim’s new song, ‘If You Love Me’, was released and now she has premiered the song in its entirety. The track is a special Valentine’s Day gift to her fans who eagerly await her next studio project, following her ‘Black Friday’ mixtape of 2011.

‘If You Love Me’ isn’t bad record but it is far from exciting. Kim really needs to abandon her taste for auto-tune because at this stage it has become quite hackneyed. Additionally, there is something off about her flow where she simply can’t keep up with the tempo of the beat.
Still, we should all be thankful that we could understand the lyrics of ‘If You Love Me’ and that Kim didn’t simply scream confusing chants over the track. This is not classic Hip-Hop but at least it is not noise.
