New Video: Madonna – ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ (Ft. Nicki Minaj & M.I.A.)’

As Madonna mania has climbed to a new level of excitement, she has released the video for her new single, ‘Give Me All Your Luvin”. The legendary performer put forward several previews of the clip, which features Nicki Minaj and M.I.A, and now she has premiered the full visual.
‘Give Me’ is the lead single from Madonna’s ‘M.D.N.A.’ album, which is set to hit stores on March 26th. Early this morning, she unveiled 15 of the 18 tracks that will be included on the record’s deluxe edition, which is now available for pre-order on iTunes.

I didn’t think it was possible but the video for ‘Give Me’ is even worse than the song itself. The concept was incredibly unimaginative, the costumes looked cheap and the the entire production was grossly underwhelming.
Is this how Madonna intends to announce her comeback in a world where younger artists – Lady Gaga and Rihanna – are all competing for her spot? Maybe she should just retire and spend the rest of her days touring. She could still sell out entire stadiums on the strength of her catalogue alone so any further embarrassment is not need.

Regardless of what you think, Madonna is at a point where she can do as she likes, her back catalogue and longevity prove that. If you want to have fun, and be cheesy then why not.
Why are Nicki’s & M.I.A.’s part so short? I wanted to hear more from them & less of Madonna.
The video matches the song pretty well in my opinion. Simple pop song with a bright, somewhat vibrant video to match. Could she have done more? Sure she could. Let’s not forget that for something to be classified as “popular” music, it either has to be fast enough to dance to or slow enough to listen to. Madonna has done just that, made a song to dance to.
In this day and age, can we really expect anything that is truly groundbreaking from a major label artist? The artist is often given songs that follow current trends and are deemed most likely to bring in profit.
With that being said, hopefully Madonna will use her credibility and star power to convince executives to let put more experimental, against the norm tracks in exchange for adding a few “single” worthy songs on the record. While give and take isn’t the easiest thing, let’s hope it results in a tolerable finished product.

Terrible song
The video was horrible the only ray of sunlight was her attempt to bring back the lil marilyn monroe segment other than that the video was unimaginative; had this been any other artist every one called would called it a flop. I have seen Madonna’s at her best and this is not. Her dancing was horrid. She always uses controversy as a PR move and its sad. This is suppose to be her “coming out” video showing these youngster how its done and she fell flat on her face. I wouldn’t even mention a “certain some name” that she has been clowing about because she definitely is Queen of Pop because she can definitely out dance is more creative. Hell her video So Exited and Make Me is better than this garbage. So disappoint she needs to stop talking mess and get to making better videos. First Impression is all I’m going to say.

I thought it was cute. I’m still not crazy about the song. It’s ok. I agree that it sorta sounds like “Beautiful Stranger” (one of my favorites) and the chanting is reminiscent of “Mickey.” But I don’t mind that. “Hollaback Girl” was essentially a hip-pop version of “Mickey.” It’s a fun song!
The concept of the video is obviously a nod to the Superbowl excitement. It starts off with her pushing a baby carriage (’cause she’s a mom) but then she turns into her stage persona for the big show. I assume the Marilyn Monroe part was a reference to her past (as in she’ll be performing her older hits). This is just my interpretation. It was enjoyable. Madonna has made worse videos/songs in the past couple of years.
As for the rap features, I can’t understand what MIA is saying, but that’s expected and I love her anyway. Nicki looks gorgeous in her cheerleader outfit. But I’m still mad at her for that video/song that shall not be named.
Sorry, Trent. I actually thought the video was pretty cool.
And I’ll say one more thing about age, please shut up about it. I’ve said it in a previous post, but I’ll say it again. If Mick Jagger can run around on stage and shake his ass in some leather pants, then I think Madonna can wear a simple leotard (a simple uniform for a dancer) and be sexy if she wants.

Blah, this is my 1st time hearing the songs and it is basic at best.
The video however, is quite good, but not amazing. Its looks far from cheap and although the concept was unoriginal (99% of vids aren’t) its contents and execution were distinct. You must struggle to see past the football/cheerleader costumes.

I enjoyed it for what it was – a fun song and a cute video. I don’t think she was going for anything epic, but I like fun Madonna. I’m just curious to see how the rest of the album sounds.
