If you thought that The-Dream’s ‘ROC’ was a cheap rehash of his previous work then you might not want to watch the song’s accompanying video. Issued as the first offering from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming ‘The Love, IV: Diary of a Madman’, which will hit stores later this year, the clip depicts a house party that was probably filmed with an iPhone.
If you don’t believe me then watch The-Dream’s ‘ROC’ video below:
So, is it safe to assume that The-Dream’s ‘The Love, IV’ isn’t a serious release? If it is then he might want to make some room in that mansion for all the unsold copies because videos like ‘ROC’ won’t encourage anybody to buy them.
I always trust your opinion Trent so I didn’t even bother to watch.
Come on Dream, the song was already bad enough but now it’s even worse with this pointless video.
Trent, you must haven’t seen where Dream said He’s okay with being a flop, Rihanna made him $15 million.

He went on and on about how his music is R&B, not popular music. If you sell more than 500,000 then you’re popular… and he doesn’t want to be. :-/
@RONALDMATTERS.COM: That doesn’t matter. If he doesn’t care too much about popularity then fine, but it would still be nice if he put out higher quality, less redundant music. “Flop” sales doesn’t have to mean that the music is bad but “flop” music? no thanks.

@Bee I COMPLETELY AGREE! This man was granted his umpteenth album (based off his hits for other people) but his sound is still the same as the first album.
I wish he changed his sound. But, he’s comfy where he is…
