Brandy had been struggling to name new album for quite some time as she sought to suitably brand the project with the perfect title that reflects the current stage of her career. However, as a result of a tragic yet timely twist of fate, the singer has finally pinned the name for her highly anticipated LP.
Following a performance at Factory nightclub early this morning, Brandy revealed that her album is entitled ‘Two Eleven’. The name of the record stems from the death of her idol, Whitney Houston, who passed on February 11th.
‘Two Eleven’ will hit stores in June; a month later than the May time slot that Brandy originally projected. The album is preceded by the lead single ‘It All Belongs To Me’, on which she teamed with Monica. A preview of the song’s accompanying video was released earlier this week.

I have always been a fan of Brandy, and I am so glad she is finally dropping this album. Her lower register? Who can beat that? She always seems to put a load of emotion in her songs. LOVE IT!

I dont get it. I dont like the title. As a fan, I wish it would have been called Green Light.
2-11 is her birthday, it’s not just centered around Whitney’s death.
She better bring it I’m tired of these lackluster projects that don’t blow me away,MJB & monica ain’t bringing it so brandy beter come hard!
Hate that title, it reminds me of the concept of Human and I’m over somber Brandy. I also hate that song she did with Monica. And why in the world is the album being pushed back again?!
I cannot hear it very well for all of the noise the is in the
background. If it is a good album might buy it. I don’t
want do what did when I bought Kelly Rowland and
only like a few songs from the album I was kinda disspointed
with it.
“It All Belongs To Me” isn’t Brandy’s first single off of Two Eleven that’s Monica’s second single just to clarify
I like the title a lot. I think it’s perfect and I’m actually excited that the albums releasing in June.
I think the title is perfect. I dont think it’s somber ^. She loved Whitney Houston and is probably refocused on her passion with the recent mentoring from Whitney and the fact that someone who ‘taught’ her music and inspired her career is gone.
It’s also the date of Brandy’s birthday and she may be empowered by associating the album with a growth, celebration of life, and rebirth in a since.
the title is…who CARES….Rodney Jerkins better be on this project…and the album better be fire! I’m gonna drag you Bran if it isn’t. WHY? Because you know better! Stop trying to sit with the cool kids at the lunch table and GET busy! You’ll always be different, that’s why we love you!
