Did you know that Trey Songz has yet to score a #1 album on the Billboard 200?
Thus far, none of Songz’s albums have nabbed the top slot on the Billboard 200. His highest ranking LP, ‘Passion, Pain & Pleasure’, only peaked at #2 on the lineup in 2010. In fact, that album is also his top-selling record with sales barely passing 820K copies.
Additionally, Songz has yet to accomplish a platinum album in the US. His best-performing studio projects in that territory remain ‘Passion’ and ‘Ready’, both of which have been certified gold by the RIAA.

He would do so much better if he would make better music.
You have to do a video on him and his stans (treys angels) Oh lawd, they thick he’s better than the KING OF R&B. i dont ever see trey going platinum, he’s not versatile at all, he does the same type of music cd after cd. No growth at all.

I don’t think this should be a surprise to anyone; just look at the content of his music. He doesn’t really seem interested in advancing his career.
Since I’m a fan I already knew he has never received platinum status with any of his albums. He has received platinum status with his singles though. There are people that go platinum and have far worst music than Trey. I believe he is a versatile artist and has shown growth with each album. Honestly many artists aren’t going platinum with their albums.
