Fresh from her performance at BET’s ‘Rip the Runway’ show, Lil Kim has dropped her new single. ‘Keys to the City’ features Young Jeezy and is the first official release from Kim’s upcoming project – whether it will be an album or an EP has yet to be determined.

Overlooking the obvious jokes associated with Kim’s opening surgery lyrics, this is actually a solid record with a serious beat for Urban radio. Jeezy definitely nabbed the spotlight but Kim held her own and put forward her verses without heavy auto-tune.
Let’s see what else Kim has to offer with her new project. Hopefully, it involves serious promotion and more live performances like her showing on ‘Rip the Runway’.
