New Video: J. Cole – ‘Nobody’s Perfect (Ft. Missy Elliott)’

J. Cole and Missy Elliott unite for 'Nobody's Perfect'.

J. Cole previously announced that he had filmed a video for ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ with Missy Elliott but the real surprise came when he debuted the clip this evening. The visual is the latest offering from the rapper’s debut album, ‘Cole World: The Sideline Story’.

Thus far, ‘Cole World’ has been certified gold in the US. The record yielded a platinum-certified top 20 single on the Billboard Hot 100,  , which peaked at #13 on the chart.

The expectations for J. Cole’s ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ video weren’t very high but it was certainly a pleasant surprise to see how well it was put together. Yet, perhaps I’m just biased because Missy has finally resurfaced onscreen.

   Agreed, its just great to see Missy back! I can’t lie.. I did expect more from the video simply because of Missy’s presence & her being so prolific in video-making. But.. it was hot nonetheless..

   I like it. J. Cole is absolutely gorgeous. Missy is absolutely fabulous. Colin Tilley has really come far as a director.
