New Video: Toni Braxton – ‘I Heart You’

Moments after the behind the scenes footage of Toni Braxton’s new ‘I Heart You’ production was released, the full video premiered! Directed by Bille Woodruff, the song is the lead offering from the diva’s upcoming  ‘Heartstrings & Synagogue Vibes’ LP.

If you like to dance then you’re in lucked because  Braxton’s ‘Heartstrings & Synagogue Vibes’ is dedicated to her Dance/Pop roots. Watch the ‘I Heart You’ video, which channels that energy, below:

For such a strong record as ‘I Heart You’, this video is a bit underwhelming. It really looks like a cheaper version of Braxton’s underrated ‘Make My Heart’ visual and it includes much less excitement.

Hopefully, Braxton has other tricks prepared to ensure the success of ‘Heartstrings & Synagogue Vibes’ because the industry needs her voice. We don’t need people to overlook this project similar to the way they generally ignored her solid ‘Libra’ and ‘Pulse’ records.

   I like the song a little bit more now. But the video needed more colorful scenery and a storyline, it looked like just a bunch of glam shots.
