Emeli Sande guests on BET's '106 & Park'.

Emeli Sande is really preparing to take the US by storm! Following her debut performance on ‘Conan’ last week, the singer/songwriter visited BET’s ’106 & Park’ last evening to showcase her talent for the young viewers.

In addition to discussing her musical journey and the development of her songwriting skills, Sande wowed the ’106 & Park’ audience with a performance of her first US single, ‘Next to Me’. The track supports her ‘Our Version of Events’ LP, which will arrive in that country on June 5th.

   I really hope America embrace Emeli Sande as she’s the real deal. Hoply, she is being marketed to all areas. Not just the black community.Emeli, Jessie J, Rebecca Ferguson, Alexandra Burke and Rita Ora could all really do well other seas and have long careers. Emeli made me a fan with ‘My kind of love’. That song touches me.
