Mariah Carey Logs Studio Time With Jermaine Dupri

Mariah Carey reps So So Def in the studio.
There is still no confirmation regarding if Mariah Carey’s recent play date with Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz resulted in new music but we definitely know other people with whom the diva has been working. Early this morning, the Carey hit the studio with Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox to record material for her new album.
Carey, Cox and Dupri have been crafting new material since early 2011, while she was still pregnant with her twins. Yet, with the exception of ‘Save the Day’, they have yet to reveal the titles of any of the songs that they have written or when their fans will get the opportunity to hear the tracks.

I wish she would work with other producers……
Her speaking voice sounds horrid. Like manly, raspy and low. I wonder how many studio tricks they will use this time around to manipulate her voice?
And to top it off, she is her 40s and her grammar/speaking skills are embarrassing.
I hope they don’t make songs that sound like from E=MC2 or anything that is WBT. She needs more organic sounds like live instruments and less computer artificial beats. Hoping she releases new music by this year
There is nothing wrong with her speaking voice or grammar skills…..boy goodbye.
Mariah is hilarious. I always enjoy her sense of humor and I loved that they kept singing JDs opening line to “Last Kiss.”
That being said I was very skeptical of another Jermaine/BMC collaboration because their pairing resulted in I Stay In Love, which I can never forgive its basic production.lol. Then I remembered that they also crafted 100% and Oh Santa which had amazing production and a fresh new sound. So Im excited to hear what their new material will sound like! Mariah better sharpen her pencil and bring some Music Box/ Butterfly writing like she did on Memoirs and she better fight for the right singles to be rekeased. It annoys tht shit outta me that she can’t persuade her team to release the right material! She could could have well surpassed tht Beatles if she would focus on promotion in the US more and make sure her singles are charting correctly. She can still sing her ass off and out do these raunchy, nasally singing new artists.
