Did you know that Alicia Keys is the only female artist to chart an ‘Unplugged’ album at #1 on the Billboard 200?
Keys’ ‘Unplugged’ debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 in October 2005 with over 196K copies sold. The record is one of three ‘Unplugged’ albums to reach the peak of the listing, following sets by Eric Clapton (1992) and Nirvana (1994), and is the only ‘Unplugged’ by an R&B act to reach the summit of the chart.
Included on Keys’ ‘Unplugged’ was the record’s main single, ‘Unbreakable’. The track peaked at #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #4 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Watch Keys perform ‘Unbreakable’ below:

this unplugged record was nothing short of brilliant.
I am an Alicia Keys Stan! I like this music minute! Some say she can’t sing, oh well, oh hell! She’s has a nice tone and I like her rasp, I like the imperfect pitch, it sets her apart from others, the live instrumentations, the live vocals all concert long! Get it Ms. Keys!
