Tank joined Chris Brown on the latter’s ‘Fuck the City Up (Remix)’ so it was only fitting the favour was returned. Indeed, the dynamic duo reunited yet again on ‘Lonely’ from Tank’s upcoming ‘This Is How I Feel’ album, which hits stores on May 8th.
However, don’t expect to here too much singing from Brown on ‘Lonely’. The versatile entertainer continued the rapping from his recently released ‘Till I Die’ single and mixed styles on the track. Listen to ‘Lonely’ below:
‘Lonely’ is the type of song that could boost Tank’s profile on Urban and Rhythmic radio if promoted properly. Yet, it would be far better if he would have applied his vocals to an arrangement of live instruments instead of the typical Contemporary R&B productions.
i wish he would stop rapping..seriously
Chris needs to stop rapping. Someone should really sit him down and tell him rapping ain’t it.
I like Chris rapping sometimes…his voice is just soothing speaking, rapping, or singing. His voice makes me happy.
It’s alright.
R&B just ain’t what it used to be.
Chris sounds better rapping on this then singing.I thought i would like this cause the beat is sick but i’m not really a fan of Tanks’s voice. It just aint for me.
