    Rita Ora Performs Destiny’s Child’s ‘Say My Name’

    Rita Ora performs at the Cartier Juste un Clou after-party.

    Jay-Z wants Rita Ora to follow in the footsteps of Rihanna yet her talent is actually on the level of a young Beyonce. In fact, while performing at the Cartier Juste un Clou after-party in New York City last evening, the budding star delivered a stunning rendition of Destiny’s Child’s ’Say My Name’ that showcased her range.

    Ora stated in The Guardian that Jay-Z wants her to match the success of Rihanna. If you have functioning eyes then it’s not hard to determine if she told the truth. Forget about that for now, though, and watch Ora cover ‘Say My Name’ below:

      Are ya’ll serious right now? this was far from a stunning rendition.. sounds very forced. She could probably sing if she got some voice lessons and learned some control… Otherwise, I don’t see her standing out from any other female in the industry.

      sounds like joss stone to me;

      While she sounded ah-mazing, am I the only one who noticed that she sung it the exact same melodic way as Beyoncé did when she performs it live? Belting included.

      They are just talking and carrying on while she “sings” lol

      She’s doing well, I just want her to sing it like Rita, not Beyonce.

      I’m starting to get annoyed when bloggers trent included mention rihanna’s name for EVERY post on rita. Like keep the two separate

      I agree with the above statement…Rihanna and Rita are two seperate artist. That’s why there are so few of females in the music industry doing big things…because they are always put up against each other when we should be enjoying there talents. And it’s funny how bloggers get on the net and down play Rihanna or Beyonce or Ciara or Keri or Nicki or Iggy or Lil Kim…well you get the picture…when they be the main ones in the club rocking to their music! I only come to this site to catch up on new vids. Other then that…Trent could kiss it! When does he ever have anythig nice to say about an female artist. PREEEEEEESSSSSSEEEEEED Powder!
