Sneak Peek: Rita Ora Channels Rihanna In ‘R.I.P’ Video

Rita Ora is the latest representative of the Roc Nation brand but despite being labelled as a refreshing new face, the singer has often been compared to Rihanna. Such parallels are most apparent in Ora’s new video for ‘R.I.P.’.
Directed by Emil Nava and co-starring rapper Tinie Tempah, ‘R.I.P.’ is the debut UK release from Ora. She revealed her excitement about the production in the behind the scenes footage from the set and noted that she was ready to launch into the music scene.
Yet, judging by this sneak peek of Ora’s ‘R.I.P.’ video, she will have a difficult time escaping comparisons to Rihanna, who is also signed to Roc Nation. Watch the preview of the clip below and spot the similarities between the beauties:

here is the problem with this girl she has an amzing voice bt she was discovered by the same guys who work with rihanna jay brown and tyty for that reason whatever worked on rihanna they think it will work on this girl who knows may it works nowadays its not abt how good you are its abt how commercially you are i dont blame them for wanting to commercialize their artists coz everyone is working for money and nowadays the consumer is the boss so they are forced to do go by whats on demand. labels are signing pple according to their facebook likes, #s of youtubes views, #s of twitter followers but then its not the case coz those numbers do not translate to the album sales i wish her the best she has a good personality and good voice too
it looks more natural on Rita, that’s the difference. She doesn’t seem like she’s gonna change her look with every album.

This is just lame IMO, despite what people think Rihanna is an established artist selling millions of albums and doing arena tours so putting this bitch in one of her old outfits and wigs isn’t gonna kill her career in any way.
I have nothing against Rita besides her blatent swagger jacking and lame music, she needs to come with something FRESH and why do we all big up Roc Nation so much who besides Rihanna and Jay Z is successful on that label???

Type in “Rita Ora” on yoututbe and go to videos of Rita from years ago. You’ll see Rita aint changed, infact the one so used to cloning others (RiRi) is the one that has indeed morphed into Rita.

Let’s be real…Rita is a singer, that i can’t take away from her. By in my opinion, she doesn’t have that “it” factor. and tho Rihanna constantly changes her style with each album, i think its a good thing because each of her albums gives you something different. and that’s the key to rihanna’s success.

I’m so not here for Roc Nation trying to make Rita into Rihanna 2.0 when we are trying so hard to get Rihanna 1.0 to have a seat. Rita needs better music that suited for her voice. Rita is talented and RN needs to develop her talents instead of trying to use a formula, which was a fluke anyways, to make her into a star.
Meh. This is too lukewarm for a first single. She needs to BRING IT and make an impression. Which means dancing and more. Yes she can sing but she’s doing pop which doesn’t ask for vocal gymnastics. Honestly if rocnation is going to market her as Rihanna 2.0 by making her just look sexy and pose in videos then I don’t see it for her. They either need to give her the very best of songs, like they do for Rihanna or make sure she does more than just standing there and being pretty.

Rihanna always change her style with every new album. Her newest wardrobe change was base off London Street wear i.e. the ripped jeans, plaid shirts, leather jackets, combat boots, and stocking with shorts. Ok Rita grew up in London so she would naturally already wear these type of clothing and probably always would have dress the way you she rihanna dressing for just a quick wardrobe change for an new album. So realistically Rihanna is jacking Rita. I know it would seem this way cause Rihanna is a better know artist and Rita is the newcomer. But when I saw Rita for the first time about two years ago she was dresses in the same fashion she is dressed now and Rihanna had red hair and was wearing very colorful clothing. Personally I think Rita and Rihanna are two different artist with two different sounds and Rita actually sound nice singing unlike Rihanna billy goat yodeling ass. But I don’t any of Rita song they suck to me now she should take some lesson goat mcguff in picking out some good songs. Ri is and genius when come picking out good songs.
