Britney Spears Officially Joins ‘The X Factor (US)’
Britney Spears, LA Reid, Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato.
What you are about to read is not a lie. Britney Spears has been hired as one of the new judges on ‘The X Factor (US)’. Yes, beloved fans of better judgement, the confused superstar has joined the panel with Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell and LA Reid.
The news broke just minutes ago that Spears will serve as a judge on ‘X Factor (US)’ on the second season of the show for a reported $15 million pay cheque. Alongside Lovato, she replaces the Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, who were both fired at the end of the first low-rated season of the series.

‘X Factor (US)’ is focused on finding superstar entertainers and not just great singers so the signing of Spears was brilliant in theory. However, she barely has the mental capacity to complete a simple interview without her handlers controlling every moment. Therefore, how will Spears function during the spontaneous, high pressure moments of the show?
Maybe Spears has regained the confidence and mental stability during the last few months. If not then I pray she doesn’t burst into tears or suffer another meltdown during the season. Her team beter stock her medication for every possible situation.

Listen. WHy people are up in arms over their singing ability I would like to ask. When was the last time you heard Britney speak? or saw her 100% aware of her surroundings?

Thank you! I been saying that making Britney as a judge makes no sense to me. They are realy doing this for ratings which is sad. I watch to actually see good singing. I know if I was a singer and Britney had the NERVE to tell me I was pitchy during a bridge, I would look at her like she crazy.
And she hasn’t even had control of her life since 2008. She can’t even go to another state without permission. What makes you think she will be able to say what she wants without her management jumping in? God forbid her and Simon get Into it. I bet they made him sign a contract regarding that though. I think this is to embarrass Britney and its sad. And yea I know it’s about more than singing, but are u gonna vote for someone who can dance or who can sing? Exactly. No matter how they marketed it, it’s a singing competition.
Honestly, Simon didn’t hire Britney because he thought that she would be a great mentor/judge, he hired her for the ratings. People are going to tune in just to see how Britney handles being in such a high pressure position and Simon knows that. So I understand why he chose Britney. But what I don’t really understand is why he chose Demi Lovato. I need a press statement to explain that choice.
Why do so many people sleep on Demi Lovato?
She’s an AMAZING singer.

Britney has had a career that she can brag about. Millions of albums sold, #1s singles and successful tours. Yeah, she has changed A LOT but she has a great background for sure. Now, this other girl Demi may be a better singer but who is she? Isn’t she too young to coach others? I think she lacks experience & I really doubt she will be respected by the contestants.

Britney can’t sing but the bitch got “the” X factor. it’s that something that people love about her no matter who it is that makes millions of fans go crazy, and make her stay relevant. Same thing with a lot of other people.
People don’t take Demi Lovato serious because she is too young. She doesn’t have enough experience. She really has to prove herself.
Remember American Idol had an unstable drug addicted judge for a number of years…. I believe Britney Spears is the more successful Paula Abdul of our day, she’ll be dumb rude and country and we will all eat it up because it’ll be hilarious, demi Lovato was a great choice as well, featuring talent and will pull in the teens!
paula worked on Idol because the show was fresh and new, she was lucky it was going to be a success with or without her. X-factor is competing with Idol and the Voice, he needed a bigger diva who could hold her weight and be interesting, Britney is not it and no one knows the other chick
I understand why they picked Britney, regardless of how people feel about her vocals, she has been in the game for a long time and she was a great entertainer in her younger days. So Britney can mentor and give a lot of advice.
This Demi Lavato chick….I don’t know. What advice is going to give? They would’ve been better off picking Hanna Montana at least she know what it’s like to have a huge fan base and being a brand. No shade to Demi but from my understanding she got a lot of her attention from a meltdown she had. And No offense even though that’s great she overcame that bad time in her life….umm I think people are going to get tired of hearing that story from her. I mean thats the only thing she can pull from to give advice about. I understand she has some popularity from kids that watch Disney channel but she isn’t in my opinion in a position to mentor aspiring singers/ entertainers and She’s is still trying to make it in music herself. But We’ll see….
