Emeli Sande performs live on 'The Voice (UK)'.

Whenever Emeli Sande performs she leaves people utterly stunned by her talent and she continued that trend earlier today on ‘The Voice (UK)’. In face, the soulful songbird belted her new single, ‘My Kind of Love‘, so effortlessly that she received a standing ovation from the crowd!

Sande will soon enthrall fans across the US with her powerful voice when she releases her ‘Our Version of Events’ debut album in that territory. The record is set to hit stores on June 5th and is preceded by the lead single, ‘Next to Me’.

The world needs Sande. If anybody doubts her important her talent is to the current music landscape then they simply need to watch this performance and observe how incredible she is as a vocalist. Sande is without question one of the best singers to emerge in years!

   it was good…. they were a few pitches she was RIGHT under the note though.

   Her voice is incredibly unique. I love the scratchiness of it. I love the lilt of her phrasing. I love her lyrics and the depth and emotion she puts into the words without going ridiculously overboard with shouting, runs, or bleating. I have a feeling a certain returning pop star will be emulating Emeli’s sound…
