Are we back in 2005? Mariah Carey attended the Project Canvas Charity Event hosted by Nick Cannon at The Opera Ballroom at Crest last evening and looked striking similar to her bronzed ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’ days.

Mariah looks awesome after havin twins. She is so beautiful and she has a beautiful soul to match. I think she would great at a whitney tribute – they were great friends and Mariah’s voice STILL kicks ass! (I have all those albums too)

I don’t blame people for saying that Mariah’s voice isn’t in the best condition. I personally HATED her performances in Austria, but I’m rooting for her. However, I honestly think that most people want her in this Whitney tribute not for the singing but because they were FRIENDS and they truly cared for each other. So why not? Sometimes is not about giving the best vocal showcase, you know?
If Mariah was to perform on Whitney’s tribute she’d do When you believe or choose a vocally hard rare song to own it even better than Houston. Voice will be back in dec. for sure.
Mariah’s voice is fine, she just gets tensed at certain moments. She just needs to let go and just go for it. When you get stiff and uptight things aren’t as free. She showed beautiful moments in Austria. People must nt understand vocals, Mariah was singing at an extremely high altitude along with frigid temperatures. Her voice is amazing. Know that if she was to do the tribute she would have it all together.
Also, to the person that has talked about her tributes, i think that she has done a great ob as far as those go, but she holds back out of respect for the artists that she is tributing. Even while tributing she shines without trying as hard as the others. While others seem forced here and there, it was just easy for her.
