Janet Jackson Talks New Music & Films

A fresh-faced Janet Jackson in New York City.

Janet Jackson made her red carpet return at the Marco Glaviano ‘Supermodels’ exhibition at the Keszler Gallery on May 10th and soon she will be back on the music scene. In fact, the icon has already started preparing a new album.

Speaking to both ‘Extra’ and ‘The Audrey Johnson Show’, Jackson revealed that she has begun planning the direction of her next record. However, that new music isn’t the only thing on her agenda.

Jackson also noted that she has signed a deal with Lionsgate to produce films, thus fulfilling a dream that she has since she was a child. Watch what Jackson had to say about he new ventures below:

   These celebs must get so weary of being asked the same questions over and over and over again at these events. Love her. I’m interested in seeing what films she will be producing. I like that she said “different” because it gives me hope that she won’t be doing the same-o, same-o that goes on a lot with ‘our’ films.

   Sweetie, haters never prosper. Janet is on top of her game…at 45. XTina, though I like her and love her singing voice, won’t have the lasting power of Miss Jackson. Thirty years after he first album dropped and ppl still care about whats going on with her. THATS a legend.
