Jennifer Lopez performs on 'American Idol'.
If you’re planning to attend Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming tour then her performance on this evening’s episode of ‘American Idol’ serves as a suitable preview. However, don’t expect powerhouse or even live vocals because a choreography is the main aspect of her shows.
Alongside her boyfriend, Casper Smart, Lopez rocked the ‘Idol’ viewers with routines of ‘Dance Again’. Clearly, when she was resigned to Epic Records, her vocal performances were not a contributing factor.

As I watched it live I tweeted was she singing…with that said I think it was a good performance coming from JLO. When I think of a JLO performance singing doesn’t come to mind
I enjoyed this performance at least she actually brought it to life I would say she sung some parts and mimed some parts…can’t tell but hey its a great performance….!

well she wouldn’t be the only one, she freaking KILLED it, hands down 1 of the top three performers in the game along with Janet and Bey
she’s lipping. being a Janet stan myself, I KNOW when a bissh is lipping. J.Lo just has TOP-notch live audio/vocal people. With that being said…she did her thing! Get ‘em Jenny!
She did an amazing job. She lipped some and sung some.
Watched it again and I do think she sing some and mimed some. Her and her boyfriend are super cute btw lol.
The shad wasn’t even needed here. She’s not a vocalist but she does excel at what she does do. The only issue I have is she doesn’t perform more often.

Possibly the verses were live, look at 2:02, as the she bends backwards the her vocal drop in volume. Anywho i much prefer this style of lip-syncing that her and beyonce do where its actually convincing, it has more energy then simply playing the CD loud in the background like Chris Brown and Britney. Pre-recorder vocals FTW. On another note, this song is terrible.

Had she been one of those performers that gives you lipped performance after lipped performance, I’d say this was lipped. Had I not seen the fan recordings of this performance which was pre-recorded and done more than once, I’d say this was lipped. Had the choreography been difficult, I’d say this was lipped. If this was a difficult song to sing, I’d say this was lipped. I honestly don’t see how this was lipped lol. I’m trying my hardest to spot/hear it but I really can’t.
She was clearly lipping; but my question is why don’t you state the obvious when it comes to Mariah performing “Live?”

Loved the music and dancing..BUT..her outfit was not flattering and made her look bad from the waist down!! Horrible!
