Melanie Fiona celebrated her 2012 BET Awards nomination by visiting ’106 & Park’ this evening. The stunning R&B singer serenaded the audience with her soulful vocals as she belted ’4 AM’ from her ‘The MF Life’ album.

Earlier today, Fiona scored a nomination for Best Female R&B Artist at the 2012 BET Awards. However, the six-time nominee and BET favourite Beyonce is also up for the same honor so Fiona’s chances of a win are slim.

Remember, Single LAdies won over It Kills Me for best vocals… now you know that’s some bullshit. Melanie’s vocals in It Kills Me slayed Bey in Single Ladies. BET needs to start focusing on talent and vocals instead of popularity and reputation.

   I really hope melaine wins. I am a big bey fan, but melaine is a better vocalist I have to say, I’ve seen both in concert and melaine range is stronger and better than bey’s.
