Did you know that the Beastie Boys’ ‘Licensed to Ill’ was the the first Rap album to hit #1 on the Billboard 200?

‘Licensed to Ill’ was release on November 15 1986 and eventually rose to the top of the Billboard 200 on March 7th 1987. That feat earned the group the distinction of having the first Rap album to climb to #1 on the chart.
