Did you know that No Doubt has yet to score a #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100?
Although their amassed large album sales, none of No Doubt’s singles have reached the summit of the Hot 100. In fact, their highest-charting single was ‘Underneath it All (Ft. Lady Saw)’, which peaked at #3 on the lineup in 2002.
Interestingly, No Doubt’s ‘Don’t Speak’ had a solid chance of topping the Hot 100 since it ruled the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart for a stunning 16 weeks in 1996. However, the Hot 100 chart’s rules at that time prevented songs without commercially available copies from ascending to the summit.
Still, regardless of that setback, No Doubt’s ‘Tragic Kingdom’, from which ‘Don’t Speak’ was lifted, achieved diamond-certified status in the US. Watch the video for ‘Don’t Speak’ below:
