Last week, Omarion shared behind the scenes footage of his ‘Let’s Talk’ video but that’s not the only new released he prepared for his fans. In fact, Maybach O has put forward another new song, ‘Body’, which was produced by DJ Carnage.
Maybach O is currently preparing his Maybach Music Group debut EP for release in the summer. The project is being guided by his new mentor, Rick Ross, who also appears in the ‘Let’s Talk’ video. However, while we wait for that new material, you can listen to ‘Body’ below:
So, after Ross boasted that Maybach would be his first major R&B artist, the latter releases ‘Body’ – a trendy Dance/Pop song. This is not surprising, though, because Maybach O needs a hit by any means necessary. Really, he never scored a top 10 song and an R&B record would be more of a risk for him than a club tune. Do your thing, Maybach O.
I LUKE IT!! I COULD DEFF GET DOWN TO IT IN THE CLUB
lmao rick ross loves rihanna, hell he went and got his own..i aint mad at the song, im just curious which clubs are gonna play this other then the gay ones…10′s across the board Mother O
Is it just me or does this have a Chris Brown “Turn up the music” sound to it. No, I’ll pass not feeling the “pop” vibe for him.
[...] While Omarion is gearing up to release his Maybach Music debut album with the lead single “Lets Talk” a new song has emerged entitled “Body” which takes a different direction than his lead single, this new song Body is more of a pop song no word if it will be included on his new album but we shall soon find out. I’m not really feeling the song after a while the repetitive chorus gets annoying but I think pop music can work for Omarion lets just hope its pop music with a new sound and not copying what his R&B/Pop peers are doing just to gain a hit. @Liberiangirl… I agree it does sound like TUTM with a mix of We found Love vibe… Well if you gonna imitate… Why not the best. Go ahead Omarion the new CB/Rih 2.0
Omarion, sir….
No. Just no.
LMAOO Trent stop bout Maybach O I refuse to call him that
Maybe I’m confused… all R&B is beginning to sound like club/house/dance music. When did that happen?
Omari is corny as hell now. What happened to him?
WELL. RNB SEEMS TO BE SYNONYMOUS WITH BLACK THESE DAYS. FOLK DON’T CARE WHAT GENRE A BLACK ARTIST RELEASES, THEY WILL STILL BE ADDRESSED AS ‘RNB ACTS’.. RIHANNA COULD COME OUT WITH AN ENTIRE TAYLOR SWIFT STYLE COUNTRY ALBUM AND SHE WILL STILL BE NOMINATED UNDER BEST RNB AND BE REFERRED TO AS AN ‘RNB STAR’… SMH

THE TRUTH!
If you’re black, you’re R&B – regardless of what your music sounds like. It’s ridiculous
