Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown star in their 'Right By My Side' video.
You’ve seen the previews of Nicki Minaj’s ‘Right by My Side’ video but now the visual has premiered in its entirety. Featuring appearances by Chris Brown and Nas, the production was filmed to support Minaj’s slow-selling ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ album.
Since being released on April 3rd, ‘Roman Reloaded’ has sold only 454K copies in the US. The album quickly fell out of the Billboard 200 top 10 after only four weeks. Watch Minaj’s ‘Right by My Side’ video below:
This is simply a dull video for a dull song. There is nothing about this ‘Right by My Side’ video that is memorable other than the fact that Minaj wasn’t trying to wine with her shoulders. On the bright side, it looks like she had fun with Brown. That’s all that matters, right?

The video was simple and very 90′s old school hip hop. Reminds of the days of New Edition and Boyz II Men. No big production just simple like falling in love is suppose to be. I feel a lot of people get caught up with special effects that you lose sight of the song. The video suits the song. Niki, Nas and Chris did a great job the chemistry was on point especially with her and Chris like best friends. Everyone has opinion and nothing anyone says is law. If you like then you like if you don’t you don’t. Anyhooo can’t wait for the rest of CB’s videos.
