Watching a talented artist’s career sink into oblivion is always tough and Teairra Mari is no different. Indeed, when the singer released her long awaited ‘U Did That’ video, which features an appearance by 2 Chainz, today it was truly an emotional experience.
‘U Did That’ is the lead release from Mari’s first album on Rico Love’s Division 1 imprint. However, there is still no would regarding if that LP will ever hit stores or if Love will turn the lights off on the project.

Tacky wardrobe, low budget set and bad lighting – these are not a few of my favourite things. What went wrong with this ‘U Did That’ video? How could such a successful producer like Love not take better care of his artist? Why has the universe forsaken Mari? This is all just so sad.

The few seconds of dancing was the highlight. Other than that the video was dull. I respect her for not giving up her dreams but at this point I just don’t see it for her. But good luck to her.

Her team seems to be treating her like a joke, not that I ever took her as much more. But it’s different when the people behind you start treating you as such.
But I also wonder is Teairra truly capable of competing with some of today’s hottest acts, even the questionably talented acts that succeed because of the high budget teams behind them.
the dancing was good… it’s not that it was cheap.. i thought the lever lf image quality was decent… i did get the feeling that this song was initially meant for Ciara.. I don’t know why… i think Tierra is Beautiful.. maybe overly sexualized… i d love to hear her sing about true experiences.. most of her songs are about men and the way they treat her.. she objectifies herself way to much…you can’t deny her talents… i hope she finds the right producers and right sound.. obviously this is her passion so why discourage her?
