Nicki Minaj performs at 102.7 KIIS FM's Wango Tango.

Nicki Minaj isn’t the best live singer but she is definitely better when she raps. The quirky star performed at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango in California last evening and actually managed to thrill the crowd without completely relying on a backtrack.

On May 10th, Minaj performed on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ and could barely be heard over her booming prerecorded vocals. This time, however, she kept her backtrack’s volume low. Wacth Minaj’s Wango Tango set below:

   She didn’t even attempt to keep up with the backtrack. I heard a guy in my section boo. She is lucky the audience was so young.
