US Charts: Nicki Minaj Nears Top 10 Exit

Nicki Minaj said that starships were meant to fly but her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ album has crashed and burned. In fact, the record has plummeted on the Billboard 200 and will soon exit the top 10 of the chart.
Released just four weeks ago, ‘Roman Reloaded’ has sold only 414K copies in the US. The record moved just 32K units this week and tumbled to #8 on the lineup, despite the release of her ‘Starships’ video last week. That song, on the other hand, has risen to #8 on the Billboard Hot 100.
By comparison, Minaj’s debut album, ‘Pink Friday’, surpassed the sales figures of ‘Roman Reloaded’ in just two weeks. To date, the record has sold over 1.83 million copies in the US and is certified platinum by the RIAA.

loool, Trent stop tryna come for her album sales. Its far from a flop but yes, its underperformed. But in the long it will definitely outsell pink friday WW, and she’ll definitely reach 1.5-2m in america by years end. She hasnt even released the strongest singles yet.
The album may suck, but its very commercial.

I love Adele and 21 is a great album, but, I’m surprised it’s still in the top 10.

@Girrrl, Don’t worry about Madonna’s numbers… “MDNA” has already sold over 1,000,000 ww with no promo on release and the only numbers Madonna is worried about is the $500,000,000+ she’ll be collecting when her soon to be record breaking tour wraps up.
