Adele Announces Pregnancy

After a year of humungous commercial accomplishments, Adele has announced another remarkable achievement. Indeed, the British Soul singer has announced that she is expecting her first child with her longtime boyfriend, Simon!

Adele’s ’21′ has thus far sold over 9.45 million copies in the US and it is still ranked in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, despite being released since February 22nd 2011. The record earned Adele six Grammy Awards including the coveted Album of the Year trophy.

“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.
