Brandy Announces ‘Two Eleven’ Release Date

After months of speculation and vague details, Brandy has finally announced the official release date of her new album, ‘Two Eleven’. The record, which is preceded by the lead single ‘Put it Down (Ft. Chris Brown)’, will arrive in stores just before the end of the summer.
‘Two Eleven’ has been scheduled for an August 28th due date. Brandy, who promised that the record will include a new R&B sound, collaborated with several hit-makers to ensure the success of her project. Among those names are Rico Love, Bangladesh and Sean Garrett.
Thus far, ‘Put it Down’ has failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. There is no regarding Brandy’s plans for a followup single but she has confirmed that a video will be shot to support the record.

Brandy really has to deliver with the video for ‘Put it Down’ and perform the song at a major event - the 2012 BET Awards – if she hopes to make the song a hit. If not then she will have to release another single because ‘Two Eleven’ will suffer on the charts without a strong lead in. Let’s just fast and pray for this one!

Her single hasn’t charted yet because she just released it to the radio stations yesterday
Brandy definitely dropped the ball with this single .. It should of been sent to radio a week after it was released and a video should have already premiered. She should essentially be gearing up for a 2nd single by now. People dnt have the atttention spans they used to so u gotta really be in peoples faces especially if its considered a “comeback” .. I still have a ton of faith tho because I kno brandy will deliver musically its fuckin brandy lol but I won’t lie I’m a lil upset at the start of this era .. Has not been the well oiled machine I was hoping for
What frustrates me is “black” artists with NOTHING ass teams leak the song … two weeks later iTunes release … a YEAR after that release the song to radio. #YAWN
Justin Bieber PREMIERES his new single on iTunes and releases it to radio THAT day. Charts the next week and SHIZZAM!

I’m a fan and I agree with all of these comments. I have to admit that the enthusiasm I had when the single dropped has waned severely.
This release date is perfect! Gives her enough time to actually push the new single.
