Did you know that most of Tupac’s albums were released after his death in 1996?
Tupac released only five studio albums before his his murder on September 13th 1996. However, following his death, seven studio albums featuring previously unreleased recordings have been issued. Of course, that does not include the two live albums, two remix collections and five greatest hits compilations.
All seven of Tupac’s posthumously released studio albums peaked within the top 10 of the Billboard 200. In fact, three of those records peaked at #1 on the chart, beating the his tally of two #1 albums he scored during his life.
