Hip-Hop icon Nas

Did you know that Hip-Hop icon Nas has yet to win a Grammy Award?

Throughout his career, Nas has been nominate for eight Grammys but has won none. Among the honors for which he received nods were Best Rap Album (three), Best Rap Performance by a Duo or a Group (three), Best Short-Form Music Video (one) and Best Rap Solo Performance (one).

Nas ‘If I Ruled the World (Imagine That) (Ft. Lauryn Hill)’ was nominated for the Best Rap Solo Performance but it lost the trophy to LL Cool J’s ‘Hey Lover’. Watch the video for ‘If I Ruled the World’ below:

   Damn shame… and how many does jay have? I don’t wanna down jay because he is great in is own right, but the fact that he has grammy’s and nas doesn’t even have one is just fucked up because we all know Nasir Jones the better of the two

   @sexicaliswagg I agree, but there are so many Legends who don’t have any, nor nominations.

   There is NOTHING legitimate about the Grammy Awards. I truly would like to know who’s on the Grammy panel.
