Did you know that all three members of Bell Biv DeVoe were originally in New Edition?

Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe comprised Bell Biv DeVoe but they were previously members of New Edition alongside Bobby Brown and Ralph Tresvant. The trio launched their careers as Bell Biv DeVoe in 1990 with their ‘Poison’ debut album.

‘Poison’ was certified 4x platinum by the RIAA and outsold every album released by New Edition. The title track of the LP was also their biggest hit and it peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Watch the ‘Poison’ video below:
