Now that the media spotlight has refocused on Iggy Azalea as a result of her appearance on ‘The Breakfast Club’ earlier this week, the raper has captilised on the attention by releasing a new song. ‘Million Dollar Misfits’ features members of Azalea’s Grand Hustle Records crew, T.I. and B.o.B.
Expect the Bei Major-produced ‘Million Dollar Misfits’ to appear on Azalea’s often delayed ‘Glory’ EP, which will be released later this year. Clearly, judging by T.I. and B.o.B, ‘Million ollar Misfits’ is a Grand Hustle affair but listen to track below just so that you can be sure:
From the production, particular that recurring booming bass, to the deliver of Azalea, T.I and B.o.B’s verses, ‘Million Dollar Misfits’ is a hit. In fact, this would have been a great single for Azalea’s upcoming ‘The New Classic’ album, which will be released in the fall.
There is really an interesting appeal to Azalea and she can definitely rap. However, the only concern is if Grand Hustle is the platform to launch her career. Honestly, T.I’s own ‘Trouble Man’ project is in shambles and although B.o.B. is doing well on the singles charts, his recently released ‘Strange Clouds’ album has sold little over 150K copies since May 1st.
At this point, Azalea won’t have the time to arrange a label switch so she needs to ensure that she remains a priority on Grand Hustle. Hence, no more delays of ‘Glory’ and sporadic radio interviews that have little to do with her music.
Thanks Iggy Azalea World!
