The June 26th of R. Kelly’s ‘Write Me Back’ album is merely days away so it is no surprise that material from the record has started to surface. Among the songs that have hit the airwaves is ‘All Rounds On Me’, which channels the sounds of the Rock & Roll era.
The album preview of ‘Write Me Back’ includes a mix of R&B, Soul and even Rock & Roll. Young Jeezy also makes an appearance on ‘Believe in Me’, thus adding a Hip-Hop element to the project.
Listen to ‘All Rounds On Me’ below:
‘All Rounds On Me’ is a solid effort but it would have been better if R. Kelly employed a more raw and powerful vocal. He is clearly holding back on this record and it just lacks the extra punch of a real Rock & Roll classic. In other words, R. Kelly needs to get in touch with his inner Little Richard.

Kellz is DEFINITELY holding back… this song has SO much potential.
You’re right, so much more could’ve been done vocally.
But it’s still a groovy track.
I love it. And R.Kelly know what to do when it comes to music. Desoite what some people say, he’s a genius LYRICALLY. Kellz keep doing your thing. You have nothing to prove.
